Our History
Boll & Hertel Productions LLC was started by Josh Hertel and Adam Boll in the fall of 2004. Our purpose in creating the company was to successfully produce the musical Logger-Rhythms, which we had written between June and December of 2004. Through a great deal of volunteer work and the support of the Chippewa Valley Cultural Association we were able to make our musical come alive (you can find the trailer for the show here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvjgtzadN_A). The success of the show and the positive feedback from so many cast, crew, and audience members prompted us to find ways to share our musical with others.
In 2009 we wrote and produced a one-act show, Tech Support, which debuted at the Minnesota Fringe Festival (you can find the trailer for the show here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mrwcdmmgRCY).
If you are a playwright, composer, or arranger and you might be interested in publishing your works through Boll & Hertel Productions, please contact us so that we may provide you with more details and answer any questions you might have. Although we plan to remain a small, artist-operated publisher, we are looking to build our base of artists over the course of the next few years. We would love to talk to you about publishing your works.
